Worship

Every Sunday at 10AM St. Patrick’s celebrates the Holy Eucharist from The Book of Common Prayer with music and hymns from the Hymnal 1982. The service includes a reading from the Old Testament, a Psalm, a reading from one of the New Testament letters and a Gospel reading. The service also includes a sermon, intercessory prayers and the blessing and distribution of Holy Communion, bread & wine.

A “Coffee Hour” regularly follows the approximately one-hour Sunday worship. St. Patrick’s also celebrates the major Feast Days with a Communion Service and music, Christmas, Good Friday, Maundy Thursday, Easter and Pentecost. Baptisms, weddings, confirmations, and funerals all have their special liturgies which include lay and ordained ministers.

St Patrick’s also has a 10AM Wednesday Holy Eucharist with Healing anointing followed by Bible study.

The Episcopal Church welcomes full participation in all worship services. Regular members, not ordained, read the lessons and the prayers and communion is offered to all who attend. Music is also an integral part of our worship. We have an organist/ pianist, a choir director, and choir. They also provide special music for special Holy Days as well as every Sunday. The choir does take time off in the summer. You are welcome to join our worship in any capacity at any time.

Sunday Worship is still available on Zoom and at 4:00 p.m. on Thursdays, Zoom Compline service is also led by one of the lay ministers.
